Announcing Significant Fee Reductions
for BankSA Customers

Effective 1 October 2009, BankSA will reduce a broad range of consumer and business exception fees to $9. This includes Payment Honour Fee, Outward Dishonour Fee and Credit Card Late Payment and Over Limit Fees.

We have been reviewing our fee structure for some time and these latest reductions follow a number of initiatives over the past 18 months, including reducing exception fees on our Concession account. We wanted to ensure that all BankSA customers would benefit from this significant and comprehensive fee reduction.

Please note: Concession Account exception fees (payment and dishonour fees) will remain at $8.

Additional ways to minimise fees

Use BankSA or Westpac ATMs

As part of our extended ATM network, you can now access more than 2,800 ATMs Australia-wide including Westpac ATMs and it won’t cost you anymore than using a BankSA ATM.

SMS and Email Alerts

Enjoy the convenience of being able to monitor your account balances and avoid overdrawing your account using SMS and email alerts^. You can receive real-time information about your accounts automatically via SMS or email. For instance, you could set-up Low Balance Alerts to avoid overdrawing your account by being notified when your balance reaches a pre-determined limit. Or simply enjoy the peace of mind knowing your direct debits or loan repayments have been made using Withdrawal Alerts.

These are just some of the examples of how BankSA continues to help you manage your accounts and avoid paying fees.
