Adelaide Fringe
In November 2005, BankSA secured the future of Australia’s biggest arts event, the Adelaide Fringe, with a five-year deal that gave the Fringe support to create a permanent presence in South Australia and helped it achieve its dream of staging an event every year.
In its first year, the relationship received national acclaim as Australia's leading business/arts partnership, winning the Australia Business Arts Foundation’s Partnership of the Year Award in 2006.
As Principal Partner of the Adelaide Fringe, BankSA does far more than provide sponsorship dollars. The bank pulls out all stops to help the Fringe enhance and share this iconic event with even more members of the community. We’re helping to increase the profile of artists and encourage greater audience participation in all things Fringe through our talkfringe website. We are also engaging BankSA staff and customers with special Fringe programs and activities.
